The Donor and Sponsor Advocate, using a high-level of attention to detail, plays a critical role in ensuring that sponsors and donors are properly recognized and honored in a consistent and appropriate way.  The Donor & Sponsor Advocate is responsible for nurturing the relationship between FIRST and sponsors and donors by ensuring key recognition deliverables are completed, sponsor recruitment materials are accurate and sponsors’ and donors’ interests are appropriately represented.  Work activities are in the broad categories of: deliverable tracking and reporting, web content management, client on-boarding/activation and lead qualification.

Reports to: Director, Corporate Relations.  This role is located in Manchester, NH

The Details

  • Manages Sponsor & Donor Recognition, Logos and Branding Guidelines
  • Monitors incoming MOU’s and Agreements and track deliverables in Salesforce
  • Develops and manages on-boarding process for new sponsors
  • Partners with the Development team and collaborates cross-functionally within the organization to achieve proper sponsor and donor recognition
  • Supports Marketing Initiatives to engage new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in donating to FIRST
  • Content Manages the Development Pages of FIRST Website
  • Assists in the content creation for acknowledgment letters and Development Communications via the Hubspot/Classy platforms
  • Key point-of-contact to respond to and qualify incoming web and phone inquiries regarding Development
  • Participates in event planning to represent Development/Sponsor/Donor interests (Championship, Founders, Strategic Partner Meetings and Supporter Summit)
  • Manage Development general inboxes/requests/inquiries
  • Manage Development giveaway items

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years directly related work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with Project Management software a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Regular hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, however, varied work hours and travel are required to meet the operational and programmatic needs of the organization.
