The salary range for this position is $62,250 - $70,032. New hires typically start within this range based on their qualifications, experience, and considerations of internal equity.
Who You Are
You are a detail-oriented and people-focused HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about creating a seamless and positive employee experience. Highly organized and skilled at managing multiple priorities, you are dedicated to accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all aspects of HR. In this role, you will process multi-state payroll and employee changes, facilitate benefits administration, and support onboarding and other HR operations. We are pleased to offer the flexibility of a primarily remote schedule -- four days from home and one in-office day shared with the team at our Manchester, New Hampshire headquarters.

What You Will Do
In this role you will:
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper handling of wages, deductions, and overtime.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment support, invoice reconciliation, and employee communications.
- Maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now and physical personnel files.
- Support new-hire onboarding by assisting with paperwork, I-9 verification, and serving as a point of contact before start dates.
- Manage employee changes, ensuring proper documentation and approval routing.
- Oversee the HR SharePoint site, keeping content accurate and up to date.
- Monitor the HR inbox, responding to inquiries or directing them to the appropriate team member.
- Process and track payments to HR and benefits-related vendors.
- Assist with recruitment and employee engagement efforts, including job postings and background checks.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed.
What We Expect
We are seeking candidates with the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Typically requires a BS/BA in related discipline and generally requires at least 2 years of directly related experience.
- Multi-state payroll processing experience.
- Knowledge of employee benefits administration and related processing.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with Payroll Software, ADP preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, World, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to securely handle confidential information.
